The Service provides software-as-a-service tools for independent freelancers, including invoicing, contracts, proposals, project management, time tracking, client portals, late-payment escalation, and AI-assisted document generation (the "Platform"), as well as free public tools (e.g., a demand-letter generator and a late-fee calculator).
3. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Legal Notice and the relationship between the provider and any user of the Service are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of Madrid, Spain, except where mandatory rules of consumer protection law assign competence to a different forum.
4. Intellectual property
All content on payshield.app — including text, graphics, logos, icons, the "PayShield" name, software code, and the visual design of the Platform — is the property of the provider or its licensors and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual-property law. Reproduction, distribution, public communication, or transformation of any of this content without the provider's prior written consent is prohibited, except where permitted by law (e.g., temporary technical reproductions made by web browsers).
User-submitted content remains the property of the user, subject to the licence granted in the Terms of Service.
5. Liability
The provider takes reasonable measures to keep the Service available, accurate, and free of malicious code, but does not warrant uninterrupted availability or absence of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by Spanish law, the provider's liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
The provider is not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from payshield.app and does not endorse them.
6. Reporting illegal content
If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your rights or applicable law, please send a notice to contact@payshield.app with sufficient detail to identify the content and the alleged infringement. The provider will review the notice and act in accordance with Article 16 LSSI-CE.

This Legal Notice may be updated to reflect changes in the provider's information or applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
